& The Cottage

I suppose I'd better tell you a little bit about myself before you enter my Cottage (otherwise how will you know that I'm not going to push you into the oven?  Or is that the other way round?) *shrug*

I'm a 30-year-old eclectic, solitary wiccan witch and have been studying Wicca since 1996.

I've tried to have a really comprehensive Wicca site here as I found that I had to jump around the internet trying to find this or that and wasted a lot of time (and money on telephone bills!).  How I wished for a site that would tell it all !!  Well, hopefully this is it!  Please bear this in mind as you wander the cottage - some pages are very TEXT -intensive and may take a few moments to download.

My new adopted buddy:

"Granny Weatherwax ... was a witch ... no-one had a bad word to say about witches.  At least, not if he wanted to wake up in the morning the same shape as he went to bed."

Excerpt from "Equal Rites" by Terry Pratchett

No-one can EVER know everything about everything (and I don't pretend to) - but I am hoping that you will be able to use this site as a springboard for your studies.  From here you should be able to grasp the basic principles of Wicca and then know exactly what you're looking for when you search the internet or try to find a book.  I'm hoping that my Guestbook will keep me informed as to whether I've attained this goal.  (hint! hint!)

I've also tried to make this a pleasurable and spiritual experience.  The beautiful background will hopefully lull you into an ambient and receptive mood in which to learn - as should the extremely beautiful Goddess Artwork of Jonathon Earl Bowser (a genius!  I love his work!).  And the music (if you are equipped with Microsoft Media) should add to the experience.  (Of course, if you'd prefer to wander the cottage in silence you can always adjust the volume control on your system!)

I have tried, where possible to give credit to everyone's work that I have included on my website.  However, if you find your work here (and have proof that it IS indeed your work) please let me know.  Of course, I will duly give credit on this site and include a link to your own website as a courtesy.

If you would like to be informed when renovations are made to the Cottage please email me, typing "Weatherwax Cottage" into the Subject header and I will automatically inform you as soon as alterations are made.  But, hopefully you will enjoy your visit so much that you'll want to return again ... and again.

I hope that you enjoy your visit to my beautiful cottage and I also hope that I've been helpful in your studies - please let me know!

Blessings
